COURTNEY McGILL, Principle
Courtney has spent her last 18 years living in Santa Barbara where she began her career in Interior Design. A Minnesota native, she moved to the city of Santa Barbara after completing her B.A. in Interior Design and Business at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.
Since moving to California, her professional journeys have taken her literally around the world, working with international clients and vendors, and exploring all the design world has to offer.
Courtney's experience began with 8 years at a Montecito-based architecture firm, awarded "Top 100" firms, by Architectural Digest, heading the Interior Design department her final year.
As founder of Cm9 Design in 2011, she has played the role of principal designer, finding personal success catering to a variety of clients and projects. Her mission has always been to improve her clients lives through tasteful planning and design, creating comfortable spaces, and lowering the stress of renovation through an organized approach.
Courtney now resides in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley with her husband and two children, and continues to work for clients throughout the central coast and valley.
